Some call them trailblazers…. Some call them innovators… We call them legendary.

Our upcoming Wine Society dinner is unlike any that Mizner has held before. Standard protocol is to highlight one winemaker or vineyard to theme the evening, curating the food around their style. With this evening, we’re highlighting 5 renowned women winemakers who are literally “The Goddesses of the Grapes” of Burgundy, Bordeaux and California.

Sylvie will be guiding the evening through a five-course pairing dinner, each course highlighting a goddess. Featured women include Heidi Peterson Barrett from La Sirena, Veronique Drouhin from Maison Joseph Drouhin (France) & Domaine Drouhin (Oregon), Merry Edwards, Sylvie Cazes from Chateau Lynch-Bages, Eileen Crane from Domaine Carneros by Taittinger.

With that All-Star line-up, Chef Orlin L. McLendon is fashioning a five-star menu to complement each winemaker. The evening begins with Alaskan King Crab and builds to Kobe Beef Nicoise—imagine the possibilities in between.
