18 Jan 2022 Men’s & Ladies’ Member-Member Golf Shoot-Out
The Men’s and Ladies’ Golf Member-Member Tournament are the premier member events of the year. 2-partner teams compete in flight over 36 holes, with each 9-holes being a different format. Each flight winner then competes in an alternate shot shoot-out to be declared the overall Men’s Member-Member Champion, Ladies’ 9-Hole Member-Member Champion, and Ladies 18-Hole Member-Member Champion.
For the Men’s Member-Member: It was an exciting day on our fantastic golf course for the final round and Shoot-Out. Each of the eight flight winners was decided in the last holes of the 36-hole competition. The flight winners and the Overall Low-Gross team qualify to compete in a 4-hole alternate shot shoot-out to determine the overall Champion. The excitement began with two tie-breaking closest to the pin contests on hole #9 to determine the low gross winner and flight winner (flight 3) to move on to compete in the shoot-out. After an exciting playoff, it came down to two teams on the final hole, with Kevin Hauser and Jay Rosett defeating the team of Jeff Sklar and Joe Ehrlich to become the overall Champions.

For the Ladies’ Member-Member:
Each Low Gross and Low Net flight winner qualified to compete in a shoot-out to determine the Overall division champions.
In the 9-Hole Division, Phyllis drained an 18ft putt to clinch the title. Wow! Congratulations, Roberta and Phyllis the 9-Hole 2022 Ladies Member-Member Champions!
In the 18-Hole Division, the 3-Hole shoot-out was as competitive as ever, with chip-offs determining advancement on the first two holes. The competition ended with Genelle draining a 20ft birdie putt to clinch their 5th championship.
