The excitement continues to grow as the recent renovation is nearing completion.
Two residents have been watching with lots of excitement. The Mellison’s are newbies — sort of.
The couple celebrates their second year Mizner anniversary this month. They chose Mizner first because of the community, although the thought of the upcoming Lifestyle Complex was also very enticing.
“We looked all over the place,” said Tracey. “But we felt the most comfortable here. We already knew a lot of people, and we knew they were going to be doing a lot of renovations.”
She looks forward to the new Poolside Restaurant & Bar.
“It’s great to have a place to be outside and meet new people. It looks like it’s going to be the central hangout place.”
And as empty nesters, they look forward to offering the kids more than just a house when they come to visit.
“I think for them when they come home it’s more like a mini-vacation. It’s like getting to go to a resort without having to go to a resort.”
It’s just the kind of experience that Mizner is creating, resort-style living year-round.
“Mizner is thinking about the future and bringing the next generation in.”
Mizner thrives as the completion of the $22 million project nears completion, the newly renovated Kipp Schulties golf course is booming and member involvement is at an all-time high.
